Eggs hatched before at EdPo. Breeding success did not differ, but chick body weight in the course of hatching–fledging was higher at InIs. In spite of even worse climatic conditions at InIs, the bigger proportion of high-Strength food items introduced by penguins from InIs (i.e. fish) may perhaps reveal their offspring‘s superior functionality.
